You'll move between a sketchbook and the software, since strong character poses and timing on paper carry over directly into how convincing the animation looks on screen.

The syllabus has 10 modules: Principles of Animation, 2D Animation Basics, 2D Animation Software Workflow, Introduction to 3D Modeling, 3D Rigging Basics, 3D Animation Basics, Lighting & Rendering, Practical Project, Sound & Music Syncing and Final Project Review. Each module is practical, lab-based work rather than lecture-only teaching.
